CHURCH PARTNERSHIP
Will your church answer the call to care for vulnerable children in Alabama?
ways to make an impact
Host TIPS: Open your doors to families preparing for the journey of fostering. Our 10-week TIPS training is often held in local churches—creating a safe, welcoming space where future foster parents can be equipped and encouraged.
Host a Foster Parent Interest Meeting: Do you have people in your church curious about fostering? Partner with ABCH to host an interest meeting and give couples and individuals a chance to explore what God may be calling them to.
Support Foster Families in Your Church: If your congregation has foster families, you have an incredible opportunity to walk alongside them. ABCH can equip your church to offer meaningful support, encouragement, and connection so foster families never feel alone.
Foster Parent Training Support: Provide meals or childcare during our 10-week course and help future foster families focus on their calling.
Foster Parent Night Out: Give foster families a much-needed break! Churches or community groups can host an afternoon or evening of fun and relaxation for foster parents. A simple guide is provided to make planning easy.
Family Care Projects: Lend a hand with house and yard projects for our campus homes for single moms and their children. From landscaping and indoor repairs to basic car maintenance, your help makes a tangible difference. (Only available in Birmingham & Mobile)
Donation Drives: Meet local needs by organizing a donation drive! Each of our ministry hubs has unique seasonal needs, and your group can provide the resources that help children and families thrive.
Camp of Champions: Camp includes high-quality, specialized training for our foster parents and age-appropriate classes and activities for the children in our care. Each year, more than 200 volunteers join us in helping create special experiences for our families. There are several ways to become involved, whether for a few hours or all 3 days.
