BIRMINGHAM
Family Care Relief Specialist
The Family Care Relief Specialist provides daily oversight of the Family Care program while full-time staff is off duty. This position will supervise all clients’ daily routines while
providing instruction and accountability. They will also seek to connect clients with resources that will assist them toward their goal of living independently. This person manages the household and demonstrates positive family living to clients and their dependents. This position requires the individual to stay overnight on campus while on duty in designated staff living quarters.
Applicants much have a high school diploma or equivalent.

AUBURN/OPELIKA
Counselor
The Counselor position will provide individual and family counseling, workshops, and family life conferences in order to bring the healing ministry of Jesus Christ to children and their families.
Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited college or university; current Professional Counselor License from the State of Alabama (or working toward professional licensure); and experience in individual and group counseling with a wide range of clients, including children.

PATHWAYS COUNSELING – BIRMINGHAM
RECEPTIONIST & CLIENT SPECIALIST
The Receptionist and Client Specialist must possess organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities, and sound knowledge of client record keeping. This position will be responsible for all counseling paperwork and filing, account management, records requests, and management of archived (paper and electronic) files. This position will act as a client liaison to assist new intakes in addition to following up on open invoices. This position will lead in any front office duties necessary for the functioning of the Birmingham location.

SOCIAL WORKER
The Social Worker position will be responsible for the delivery of case management services to children and families in our Foster Care program. This position will recruit, license, train, and supervise foster homes; coordinate intake, orientation, and admission of children/families into assigned program; assess information about children’s developmental/family history; develop and implement a Case Plan for every child; evaluate progress of children/families in care and foster families; manage transfers and discharge processes; represent the ABCH & FM’s vision, mission to groups, individuals, and referring agencies in a professional and objective manner; teach TIPS classes as required; and more.

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Foster Care Specialists in the Auburn and Montgomery offices. The Administrative Assistant will accomplish effective administration for both offices, which maximizes resources towards the goal of achieving the mission of ABCH.
