Sena has worked with the Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes since 2017. She served as a foster care social worker and social work engagement specialist prior to moving to her current position as the lead social worker for Adoption, Reunification, and Kinship (ARK) in 2024. 

Sena is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of North Alabama and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Alabama. Sena first began volunteering with ABCH in 2013. Her experience volunteering solidified her decision to become a social worker. 

Sena enjoyed 7 years of serving as a foster care social worker, licensing specialist, and social work engagement specialist at ABCH. Sena has felt called to ministry since serving 3 terms as a summer missionary over seas during college. Sena enjoys working with parents and relatives of children in foster care and her greatest desire is to point them to Christ, the Author of Hope. Sena also enjoys seeing children obtain permanency through adoption, which reminds her of own spiritual adoption by God through Jesus Christ(Ephesians 1:5). 

In 2016, Sena married her husband, Dylan. They have a daughter and son. Sena enjoys spending time with her family, walking, and reading. Sena and her family are members of Westmeade Baptist Church in Decatur.
