Haley Walker

Haley Walker has worked with Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes since 2012. She served as a social worker and Assistant Director before moving to her current position of Southwest Area Director in 2021.

Haley is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and her education includes a Bachelor’s of Social Work from Troy University and a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Alabama. Her time with ABCH first began as a volunteer at the Dothan campus and that is where she first discovered her love of social work.

After initially being employed as a social work aide, Haley was hired as a social worker and spent two years working at the Dothan campus before moving to Mobile in 2015. From a young age she has felt a desire to help others and prayed her career choice would honor the Lord’s calling on her life. Haley feels it has been an incredible blessing to work at ABCH and sees firsthand how the Lord can restore families even in situations that seem impossible.

Haley has been married to Howard Walker since 2018 and they were thrilled to welcome their first child, Grayson, in October 2021. They enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with their families. Haley and Howard are members of Dayspring Baptist Church.
