More times than not, our house parents and social workers do not know how long a child will be with us. In light of this, we must choose to be glad for the time we do have, and choose to make the very most of it.

Everyone has a next step to care for children in need—whether that is giving financially, serving with their energy and time, or using the gifts God’s given them to enrich lives.

Hugh and Kelly McMurry have been giving to ABCH monthly for 14 years. It’s wonderful to imagine the impact they have made for children and families—and even more, because of the work we get to do, for the kingdom of God!

Renee Cartlidge, Administrative Assistant in Dothan, shares about her experience at Camp of Champions as a former foster parent herself, as well as some of the testimonies she’s heard from other foster families throughout her time on staff.
