Women of Compassion Ballot
Project One
VEHICLE FOR SOCIAL WORKERS: This is necessary to get kiddos to and from visits with their parents, doctor visits, and other necessary appointments.
FAMILY RESTORATION PROGRAM | BIRMINGHAM & DECATUR: We recently launched the ARK (Adoption, Reunification, and Kinship) program to help children and families achieve permanency. An ARK social worker supports parents who are in the process of reunifying with their biological children. This project would cover the expenses necessary to fund this program, which includes support from an additional social worker and parenting classes.
STATEWIDE BABY NEEDS: This will cover Baby needs including car seats, cribs, diapers, etc. being provided to families
Project Two
STATE-WIDE FOSTER PARENT TRAINING: There is significant cost involved in licensing foster parents. Every parent must be CPR trained, have a background check, and needs a training manual. This project will cover:
External TIPS trainers
CPR and water training costs for families
Background checks
Training materials
Both of these projects meet important needs and have a similar cost. No matter which one is chosen, we trust that God will use it in powerful ways. Thank you for being part of this decision—we can’t wait to see the impact of your generosity!
