Thank You for 2023

God used your gifts to pursue our bold “Vision 140” strategic plan—serve at least 1,000 children every year, see 250 family reunifications, participate in 50 adoptions, and witness 50 children believe in Christ Jesus all by the year 2031 to celebrate our 140th birthday! Together, we have seven years to arrive at this ambitious destination. I am happy to tell you that your generous support this past year put us a little closer than anticipated toward that goal!

In 2023, we saw a surge in interest among prospective foster parents. In fact, we trained 122 potential foster families in 2023. This may be the most potential foster parents we have ever trained in one year! Our social workers have been and will continue to be very busy completing home studies and background checks to license these foster homes. Though we know we will lose a few foster families for a variety of reasons, we hope to have a net growth of at least 60 foster families. Your continued support will allow us to serve over 100 more children in 2024 . . .

. . . 100 more children like Tyler* and his brother will be introduced to the Gospel. Children like Calvin,* who have gone from being painfully shy and self-conscious to working a part-time job and speaking confidently to acquaintances and strangers.

Children like Caroline,* Lee,* and their mom Beth who found themselves living in a home with no running water while they waited to be evicted, not knowing where they would live next. God used your generosity to provide them with a safe, supportive place in our Family Care Home until they graduated from the program and got their very own apartment!

2023 has been a great year for our ministry, and I am excited to see what God has in store for us in 2024! Thank you for partnering with us to protect, nurture, and restore children and families through Christ-centered services. Your continued support means more changed lives in 2024 and beyond!

Thank You, and may God bless you!
