Engage Your Church

It is impossible to overstate the role churches play in helping us do the work that we do. If you are looking for ways to engage your church, we have a variety of ways to help you do that! If you need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Book a Speaker

We are blessed to have many great speakers in our organization who can teach and share on a variety of different topics. Consider booking a speaker from within our ministry to come share in your church! Learn More >>>

Participate in Annual Offering

Alabama Baptist churches have leveraged Mother’s Day as a rallying point for our ministry for years, and many churches collect an Annual Offering on this day. Learn more about the Annual Offering and how you can be a part.

Needs List Support

Many churches are brought together by collecting some of the items we need in our various locations. We have all of our current needs listed on our Needs List by Area page. Learn More >>>

Church Foster Care Ministry

Christians all across the state are rising to the needs of children in Alabama’s foster care system. Give your area office a call if you are interested in learning more about starting a foster parenting culture within your church. Click here for the contact page!

Church Promotional Materials

We can provide your church with various materials your church can use to raise awareness of the ministry done through ABCH. These materials support the Annual Offering efforts and include an 11 x 17 poster, bulletin inserts, and a promotional DVD featuring a couple of our videos you could share in a service, small group, or Sunday School, etc. If you are interested, you can order these free materials here!

Christmas Open House

We think our Christmas Open Houses are some of the coolest and most eye opening ways you and your church can connect with our ministry. Once a year we open our homes across the state for tours. This allows you to see what it is like for children in our care.

Host an Orphan Sunday Event

Our friends at Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO) have done a GREAT job at getting churches to commit the second Sunday in November to be Orphan Sunday. Each event is locally led. Sermons and small groups, concerts and prayer gatherings, film screenings, shared meals and youth activities—each rousing believers with God’s call to care for the orphan, and what we can do in response. Email with any questions about how to do this.
