A Growing Faith
“A storm-tossed sea was no match for Jesus. With three words from Him, it calmed instantly. He’ll do the same for you and me every time if we just turn to Him and trust.1”
It’s impossible for me to read of Jesus’ miracles and my faith not grow.
Jesus says in Matthew 17:20, “ . . . Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
For most of my life that I can remember, and especially over the past 25 years, Christ has been continually growing my faith. Through the miracle of my daughter, Kayla, to the horrific car accident I survived in 2004, and being able to come to work here at ABCH in December 2014—in each of these times and in times between, I’ve seen Him create life, healing, and hope in ways that only He can.
Though we all go through our own trials and storms, we need to remember Christ is always with us, to take all of our burdens and cares on himself.
Oh, how sweet the sound! He died on the cross to save us from our sins and is still willing to take all our cares on Himself just to save us from our worries and strife. What an awesome God we serve! Oh, how he loves you and me!
Pass on the good news this Easter season! Christ is alive!
