Foster Care Homes
All children who come into our care who are aged birth through preschool live with foster families. We also have some school-age children who are in foster care because we feel that option better meets their needs.
Children live in a foster family’s home and have access to church, community and school activities when applicable.
Our foster families are loving, Christian individuals and couples who have been though a rigorous approval process including criminal history background checks, home visits and pre-approval training.
They all live in Alabama within an hour’s drive from one of our regional offices: Birmingham, Decatur, Dothan, Mobile and Oxford.
Children in our care are also encouraged to maintain relationships with family and friends when possible. They have access to our Pathways Professional Counselors if needed, and we meet their medical as well as spiritual, emotional and physical needs.
We work with all involved to ensure the best possible care for every child in our ministry.
