What is Alabama Baptist Children's Homes?

For over 125 years, ABCH has strived to protect, nurture, and restore children and families through Christ-centered services. ABCH fulfills their mission through four areas of service: (1) training, licensing, and equipping foster families to provide loving Christian homes to children in foster care, (2) providing excellent campus care homes & shelter care homes for children needing care, (3) providing quality professional counseling from a Christian perspective through Pathway’s Professional Counseling ministry, and (4) providing Family Care homes to struggling mothers and their children. These services are provided in various locations across Alabama.

Is there a Children’s Homes location in the Birmingam area?

ABCH provides a wide range of services in the Birmingham area, including foster care, Pathways Professional Counseling, and two Family Care locations. The nearest homes specifically for children are in Oxford and Decatur. Learn more about all of our locations HERE.
