Impact By Partnering

Children’s Hope is an orphan-care ministry based in Montgomery, Alabama, and was initiated through First Baptist Church of Montgomery. Led by Andy and Tanya Birchfield, the ministry has three components: adoption advocacy, direct orphan care, and foster care support. In addition to local ministry here in Alabama, Children’s Hope has a strong missions and ministry presence in Jacmel, Haiti, centered around caring for orphans. Work there also includes running a medical clinic and surgical center, as well as keeping strong connections to local pastors to utilize mission teams who assist with evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and much more. more...

Sincere Hearts for our Kids

Rhoda Weber, a retired school teacher and member of Calvary Baptist since 2000, volunteers her time to the children in care at our Dothan Campus Care home by tutoring them in various subjects. “It’s an honor and a privilege that God trusts me to do this work. I wouldn’t trade anything for it,” she says. In her time reading books and helping with spelling words, Rhoda has formed sweet relationships with the kids. more...

A Family on Mission

Whether working hard and enjoying his job with Southern Company in downtown Birmingham or spending time with family and friends in his off time, Stephen Burns loves being surrounded with good community.
