Deadline to order Annual Offering Materials
Mar 16, 2012
nurture and restore children and families. But you may not always hear the
individual stories of those who were helped.
Our Annual Emphasis for 2012 is Because You Gave. In the materials, you will read
about and see the stories of those who have been helped through the generosity of
individuals and churches who gave through their direct gifts and through the
Annual Children’s Homes Offering. The materials packet includes inserts that can
be handed out or placed in a bulletin, and a DVD showcasing the stories made possible
because you gave.
If you’d like to order these materials for your church or group meeting, contact Kay
Taylor by MARCH 16 by calling 1-888-720-8805 or emailing ktaylor@abchome.org.
Please include your name, contact phone number and email, shipping address (no
P.O. Boxes please), your church and association, number of inserts needed and date
you either plan to hold the offering or have your meeting.
kNOw More Orphans Conference
Mar 10, 2012
The Church has always been God’s plan for building his kingdom, and this includes securing justice for the poor and most vulnerable. We are excited to partner with Altar84 to work intimately with the Body of Christ to care for the least of these, the orphan. On Saturday, March 10th, 2012, Altar84’s kNOw More Orphans Conference will seek to unite the local church community for the call to care for orphans and children in need — right here and around the world.
Join us at the kNOw More Orphans Conference at Hunter Street Baptist Church. Speakers include Shaun Groves, Dr. Russell Moore, Rick Morton, David Nasser and Maridel Sandburg. Worship will be led by Rush of Fools, Shaun Groves and His Little Feet.
